[Notepad-plus-plus] [notepad-plus - Help] Change cursor style?

I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow I've changed the cursor style (Notepad++
v4.1) from the basic Windows vertical bar to a dos-like underscore thing. Anyone
know how this happened and how I get it back to the original style?

Sorry about the bounce, but I have the same exact problem, and it's driving
me nuts. It's not just cosmetic, because I can't insert a character between
two others anymore. Instead it will always replace the selected one. This makes
Notepad++ unusable to me. :(

Help, please?

Push the Insert button; it toggles between insert and overwrite mode. Has nothing
to do with Npp per~se.
